Kindly be advised that the BTEA will be hosting a classroom lift training in conjunction with Contractor’s Risk Management (CRM).

During this training, participants will learn how to use a personal fall arrest system, calculate load capacities, understand vehicle limitations and stability, and perform inspections on an aerial boom lift, scissor lift and an aerial platform. Participants will understand the hazards associated with aerial lifts and the safety precautions necessary to avoid injury.

This training will consist of only the classroom portion of the lift training.  Each attendee should also complete a hands on portion using the type of lift specific to their needs.  CRM is happy to work with companies that attend this training to complete the hands on exercises as well.  Please contact John Ferrante at jferrante@btea.com to schedule the second portion of training.
